I always just thought of salt as a way to make my mother's cooking actually edible. I had no idea there were so many other uses for it - this is something everyone needs to see.

I can't believe nature's flavor enhancer is so multi-faceted. Next time I have some grit and grime to get rid of, I'm not rushing to the store for some expensive, over-the-counter, chemical-laden concoction. No, I'm sprinting to the pantry for the salt!
