Say goodbye to cockroaches forever with this super easy homemade tip [Watch]
Cockroaches.
Is there a more disgusting home-dwelling bug in the world? Not likely. Whether
you live in the U.S,, England or elsewhere, your home or the home of someone
you know has likely played host to a cockroach, or ten, at some point.
And
while the creepy crawlers offer some benefit (they eat leftovers), they
don't really provide a service that a good vacuum job couldn't take care of.
The big problem: if you find one cockroach, you'll probably find a dozen more
and it can feel impossible to completely eradicate these pests from your
home.
Mother Nature Network cautions that getting rid of these
bugs can take some time, so bring your patience (and your A-game) to the
table.
The
best step is always prevention. Cockroaches are attracted to food so cut off
access to food and water and you'll keep them out of your house.
Make
sure to clean your house thoroughly. Wash the walls, counters, stove, floor and
other areas of your home regularly. Make sure you wipe down the counters and
sweep the floor every night.
Mother
Nature Network also recommends sealing up cracks and holes in the pantry and
along baseboards and doors. Caulking will do the trick nicely. Fix any water
leaks and don't leave standing water in your home, as cockroaches will treat
sinks and over-watered plants as their own personal watering hole.
Kill
them naturally
You
can kill cockroaches without expensive treatments from pest control companies.
Remember that while this recipe is mostly natural, it is dangerous to pets and
children.
For
this recipe you'll need:
-A
Bowl
-A
Fork
-100
percent Boric Acid
-Sugar
-Egg
Yolk.
Boil
your eggs for a few minutes until the yolks are hardened. Allow them to cool.
Then, peel your eggs. Set the egg white aside. Place your yolks in a bowl and
add boric acid. Add 2.5 ounces slowly, gradually mashing it together with the
eggs. When it's completely mixed, begin by adding about 1/2 cup of sugar and
continue mixing. The texture should become like playdough. If the texture is
still crumbly, you'll need to add more sugar.
Once
you get the right texture, create small balls of the dough and place it in your
cupboards and other favourite roach hangouts. You can store your roach killer
in a container with a sealed lid for use later). The egg and sugar will lure
the roaches into a deadly dinner.

Don't
be alarmed if you see a parade of cockroaches the first day or two. Within a
week your nasty friends should be gone. This treatment is effective for several
months, according to Shameless Maya.
